September Camp at Seal Rock Campground (September 22-24, 2023)

The Bronze Chapter is partnering again with Outdoor Asian Washington and Olympic National Forest to offer a POC-centered rain-or-shine car camping experience along the serene and salty shore of Hood Canal. All The Bronze Chapter’s programs are zero drama zone, queer welcoming, and educational. This camp is appropriate for newer car campers as well as those with advanced skills who are community-minded and want to spend time together growing a more skilled BIPOC outdoor community.

Grand Discovery: Ranger-Led Beginner-Friendly Snowshoe (February 11, 2023)

As part of our Winter Recreation Series, The Bronze Chapter joins the Forest Service for a BIPOC-centered Ranger-led Grand Discovery snowshoe at Snoqualmie Pass. As part of our Winter Recreation Series, The Bronze Chapter is partnering with Northwest Avalanche Center and BIPOC instructor Tammy VuPham to host this free in-person BIPOC-centered Avalanche Awareness Class on Sunday February 26 from 3:00 - 4:30 pm at Seattle Audubon.
