Let’s Take a Breather – End of Summer Community Campout at Pearrygin Lake

Let’s slow down. Let’s breathe. Let’s 🏕️ camp. Join us for a gentle, end-of-summer gathering at Pearrygin Lake, nestled in the foothills of the North Cascades near the charming town of Winthrop. This is a relaxed, beginner-welcoming, dog-friendly space to reconnect with community, nature, and ourselves. AND we’ll have some drawings for giveaways.
Whether you’re a solo camper, part of a chosen family, or coming with your crew, this is a space to: 🌠 Share stories from the year’s outdoor journeys 🪵 Sit around the fire ring with new and familiar faces 🏞️ Rest, reset, and just be in beautiful surroundings free from demands of daily life 🏕️ Limited WiFi means more enjoyment of the natural world 💧 Float, paddle, snorkel, hike, birdwatch, or do absolutely nothing at all
Campers often bring bikes, scooters, skateboards, water toys, hammocks, sketchbooks, bubbles, board and card games, poetry, or just a good sunhat. Waterskiing and jet skiing is allowed on the lake between certain hours. Morning coffee overlooking the lake, sunset reflection time, and a dash into Winthrop for Sheri’s Sweet Shoppe ice cream? Very likely.
You literally don’t even need to bring food, because you could eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner in town just 2 miles away. And if you forget anything, just mosey on over to one of the grocery stores or Cascades Outdoor Store. This is a place you can seriously keep camping simple.
Remember to bring your swim costumes because you know I’ll be in the water – and tryin’ to get ya’ll in there with me – most of the time.
