Ancestral and Survival Skills

In late 2021, The Bronze Chapter and Carter McBridge, Outreach Coordinator and Advisor at Wilderness Awareness School, began brainstorming to improve access, education, and opportunity to bridge the Adventure Gap and expose ancestral and survival skills to a broader BIPOC audience. We anticipate this creative and fun collaboration will lead to some restoration of our nature/soul connection, useful skill building, and peer camaraderie. Collaboration is underway to onboard underrepresented communities of color to a progression path of safe, fun, empowering, and healthful wilderness experiences.
